You didn't dance with me, but you did take my hand. You took my hand like only a lover does and our possible future together passed in front of me. You made me feel something new, something I had never ever experienced with you. I blushed at the thought of kissing you, at the thought of our future together. I blushed like a high school girl, like that was our own secret and no one ever was going to find out.
You took my hand. But then you let me go.
